I'm trying to work on new stuff lately....too many ideas but will need to do one at a time. I processed new negatives and from the looks of it, there's some good stuff to print. I can't wait...

Also, as mentioned in one of my earlier posts, I've been working on a handful of new paintings.

Trying to get a lot of new art work done this year so I can have a solo show at Empire Seven Studios in 2010. Above are some stuff I've done this year since the Panchan show with my sister back in Nov. 09. It's going to be crazy....planning on my first ever solo show with lots of ideas to think about this year! Watch out 2010!

I love Miss Van's work. This kinda looks like her version of me....creepy.

MMMM....

Carlos and I went to A.P. Stumps and had the best dinner in a long time. Not only was the food great but the service was exceptional! Our server's name was Michael...he was the best and made our experience just that special! We can't wait to dine there again! Here's a photo of the doughnut dessert with dark hot chocolate....it melted in my mouth!

YSL and Warhol

My sister and I went to check out the YSL show yesterday at the De Young Museum. Didn't know exactly what to expect but once we walked into the darkened room, we were like little girls in the hello kitty store! To see a retrospective of YSL's work literally a couple feet away from us was such an experience! Such detail! Couture! Inspirational!

Downstairs was a cool collection of Andy Warhol's pieces as well as his own collection of memorabilia.

The show will be coming down soon so I highly suggest to take a trip up to SF. It runs until April 5th.

Work in progress

Here's some pieces I'm currently working on. Working on one piece, leaving it alone to give some thought and working on new pieces. The turtle pieces are not quite done yet and I'll get back to them once I figure out what they need...

Some of us are... "STILL IN THE DARK"

It was a great experience to be a part of this quaint photography group show at Santa Clara University's  Art Dept. gallery. I had the opportunity to show side by side with David Pace, Anton Orlov and Marie Jose-Durquet. Amongst the digital world, we are photographers who still produce work in the darkroom.
